Totally empty streets, with transients paired off ,walking up and down the streets, looking at doors, into windows, and ducking behind buildings and into shadows when they saw me coming. It was like they were window shopping, right out in the open. Ballard Ave, Leary Way and Market street had at least one pair of prowlers working each street.
